If you travel as much as I do, you know what a pain it can be to get connected in every country you visit! International data plans can be expensive, and changing SIM cards again and again is quite the hassle (not to mention how easy those nano SIMs are to lose!).
I found the solution to this problem in the form of Skyroam, a donut-sized WiFi hotspot that now I can’t travel without. With this one device, I’m able to stay connected no matter where I travel, and it’s incredibly easy to use.
Choose a day pass, a monthly subscription, or pay per GB–whichever you choose, you only pay for what you use, and there’s no contract. Once you’re connected, up to four other users can also log on, so it’s great for when your traveling companions need to get online too, or if you have multiple devices of your own. The battery lasts all day, so you don’t have to worry about running out of charge when you need it, and the device doubles as a power bank, in case your phone is running on low battery and needs some juice.
For me, the best part is that the WiFi is unlimited and works in over 130 countries. Whether I’m skiing in Switzerland, sipping a cocktail in London, or strolling around Singapore, I don’t have to worry about how I’ll be able to stay in touch or find my way around.
